About the Event
Thad is the founder of Better Outcomes Mediation, a Queensland-based conflict resolution practice built on over 32 years of experience and a career that spans continents. From his early work in Bermuda’s labour movement — including involvement in the 1981 general strike and co-drafting the Employment Act 2000 — to mediating at the International Labour Organisation, Thad brings rare depth to every dispute he handles.
At the heart of his practice is a simple but powerful philosophy: “I help hurt to heal.” Whether working with separating couples, families in conflict, or workplace disputes, Thad combines hard-won professional expertise with a warm, human-centred approach that puts people — not process — first.
His tagline says it all: Don’t get mad, Talk to Thad.
